Machining on-site using easily portable machine tools is a method which brings is exceptionally high cost savings in terms of both reducing cost and down- times. In the case of larger items, machining on-site means that dismantling and re-assembly can be avoided either fully or partially.
Special lifting (mobile cranes) and heavy transport (trailers) are costly and time- consuming factors which are dispensed with completely when this method is used.
